Hi, this is homerun25 here. A couple of weeks ago, I decided to see what a newbie's
life is like. I had seen Deriko and FireBeam do the same, and I wanted to try it out for
myself.
The first thing I did was go to the Sun Roof. As soon as I found a free space, a person
said, "Hey Mr. Potato Head!" But that was all of the name calling I
experienced for a while
in that place. And I did find some friends, some VERY GOOD friends.
Later, I went to check my Y-mail, and just like FireBeam, I found mails saying
things like, "What
happen to your face?" and "Change your face back now!"
I had enough of that fast.
I went to go visit some more chat rooms. There, I found people who would say
such things as,
"UGLY NEWB!" and "EW!!!"
I answered back to one person who said, "EW" -- I said, "What?"
She said, "YOUR UGLY, YOU UGLY NEWB."
This still makes me laugh, to tell you the truth. I just left and went to the Spin Speak.
Soon after, Deriko came along! At that time, he was
doing a Newbie Experiment as well. We started talking, and then this girl came up
to us and said, "You guys are hawt."
That's exactly what she said! Then I said, "Ya,
we're 'hot'." That made me laugh until I cried.
There are all sorts of people out
there: name callers, nice people, and people who think I'm "hawt".
Before you call a newbie a name, remember, you were a newbie too!
The "hawt" guy,
