It was 12:47 that morning, and I had just gotten back from work when I decided to hit the beach. No, no, not the real beach silly, the chatroom at Whyville!

So anyway, I sat down in my usual corner and waited for someone to come along to chat with. How was I to know that less than a minute later, chatting with someone, anyone, wouldn't be an option.

Suddenly, at 12:48, it looked like everyone had stopped talking. I said, "Hello, why isn't anyone saying anything?" but got no response.

I was soon thinking, 'Nice joke guys, but why on me!' But then, out of curiosity, I tried to move around. To my horror, I could not!!

I waited a couple minutes, and when I clicked on the beach again, I came to see very few people left out of the many that had been there before.

Curious, I threw out a question: Was anyone else not able to move or see what anyone was saying, but still able to chat??

Well, someone cared enough to answer, and told me that they had experienced the same thing! *dun dun dun* *Dramatic music*

Even now, I don't know what happened -- who knows? Was my chat stopped, but I didn't get the message? Was it a joke played by someone sitting in the master seat and laughing at this article right now? I don't think anybody can tell me... but maybe someday when you are spending your night at the beach, it will happen to you, and if it does, you'll be ready for it!

Off to eat a cookie,
