The theme of this article is kind of along the lines of newbies and judgment of appearances. It's
also a sort of reply-article to hottiemb's article from the issue of July 11,
2004.
But really, you shouldn't judge a Whyville citizen on what they look like! There
is no real 'newbie' look! Everyone has a different style. Or maybe they just
can't afford the 'cool' or desired face parts. Or maybe they just don't know
the name of the part.
I've had it, seen it and heard it. Newbies spend days wandering among Whyville's
crowds, asking for money and names of parts. Rudely ignored or insulted, only sometimes answered. Myself, I am always happy to donate a few parts or clams.
It's almost like we are a racist community! Some people act as if the newbies of
Whyville are a different race, somehow lower than them, and they think newbies have no feelings, or value.
I object!
Newbies are people too!!!
Really, what I'm saying is that it's socially wrong to judge a person by their
appearance. Who knows, you could be passing up a great friendship!!
This is kaprodigy... signing away my deepest thoughts.
