To me, fashion is a way of expressing yourself through what you wear. I like to show my personality with my clothes on Whyville and in real life.

In my time here, I've noticed something major that is very popular and very stylish on Whyville: Vintage. Now, I think most of you know what this means, but for those of you who aren't familiar with vintage... it's fashion from different decades, brought into the 21st century. This is very popular in real life and on Whyville.

Here are a few things that I think look awesome and have a great vintage flair!

The 1950s: This decade was all about looking gorgous and rich. Pearls, diamond earrings, glamourous hair... you name it!

Try:
* Geek Chic Glasses by Kitadoll
* Red Fancy Lips ~Crumple~
* Pearl Knotted Necklace ~Crumple~
* Short Black Curly Bob ~Crumple~
* Green Satin Shirt ~Crumple~
* Dangle Diamonds
* Lavish Pear Cuff #yargpixie#

The 1960s: The early '60s were about polka dots and ringer tees. The late '60s were all about bright funky colors, straight hair, layers, being natural and mixing and matching patterns.

Try:
* FLoWeR ChiLD
* Silkscreen Ringer #yargpixie#
* Old Olive Green Dress#yargpixie#
* insanity wrapped in flesh
* glossy lips w/o nose
* Orange Halter ~Crumple~

The 1970s: This era was all about disco. Bright colors, funky jewelery, spandex (thought you can't exactly buy that on Whyville!), animal prints, straight hair, funky accessories, and psychedelic patterns.

Try:
* PiEcEs Of Me
* LiP'S 4 JeNn
* Aviators (I love 'em!)
* Tacky.......70s? -CutOfFear-
* 70s -CutOfFear-

The 1980s: This decade is my personal favorite. It was all about big hair, big earrings and lots of makeup. It's also when the new wave phase came along.

Try:
* YeLLoW hOOps >meG< (I made these... yay)
* Julia
* Vibration
* Aviators (these work for the '80s too)
* Tickle Torture
* Nearest Razor -LC
* Love at first fright -LC-
* Lips w/ ring~Evil~ (any of them)
* 80's Green Earring ~Crumple~
* 80's shirt

All in all, I think vintage is a great and funky way to be unique. Instead of the usual meow mix and pink tops, I strongly suggest that you try something different. Stand out, whether it's vintage or not.

Most importantly, be yourself: This is a website, so don't be afraid to experiment with your style! :)
