BAZAAR
Today we discover an ancient part of the world, and an ancient part of Whyville! In my 6th grade class we're learning about ancient worlds. For example, during the Bronze age, people in Greece and Egypt made bronze jewelry, bronze tools and even bronze axes and swords.

Now, I know this seems boring to some of you, I can tell from past experiences. But before I myself was about to fall asleep due to boredom, I read on with the class and found the word "Bazaar." As in: An area or court-yard designed to hold shops and enough room for ancient traders and scribes.

Bazaar, you ask? The first thing that came to mind for me was Whyville. Then I realized the few times I've ever been to a Bazaar was in in Whyville! The Bazaar in Whyville practicly IS ancient, and is visited very little, it seems to me.

GREEK THEATER
The Greek Theater is another part of history. Did you know that the Greeks loved science and invested a lot of money and their cultural identity in it? Greeks held meetings in stone theaters; they used this as entertainment and education. Don't you find it odd that Whyville City Workers hold virtually all of their meetings in the Greek Theater? Or the fact the Trivia Hour at the Greek Theater is the time we've heard questions like "What is the insect found in your eyebrows?"

I find ancient history very interesting, and it's even more interesting to find that Whyville is filled with more education and learning resources than you ever imagined.

I'm Hand11, reporting from Ancient Egypt, 2000 B.C., revealing the masked.
