During the last double issue of the Times, I sat down to look at the new articles and saw one piece where the Times Editor added a note stating this:

Anybody want to look up face parts for Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and the other holidays coming up over the winter?

So I did, and what did I find? Two parts for Hanukkah and nothing else. No Kwanzaa, no Divali, nothing.

The two parts that I found for Hanukkah were both menorahs, a very common symbol of the Jewish festival:

*VanilaKss* Hanukah Menorah
Mi Menorah for Chanukkah

Why is this? Why do we seem to only have Christmas parts?

I'd like to challenge those people who can make parts (with or without their Why-Passes!) to design some other parts. Do some research and make the parts, I bet they'll be appreciated! If I had a Why-Pass or could get into the Face Factory more often, I'd do it myself!

Yours,
Cobd

Editor's Note: One possibility is that folks who did in fact design such parts are spelling Kwanzaa or Divali differently, on accident or intentionally. But it looks like you explored several spellings for Hanukkah, so I bet you did for Kwanzaa and Divali (also Diwali) as well. If you celebrate these or any other holidays in Whyville, I invite you to tell us a little story about it for the Times! Tell us what happened last year, or what traditions you celebrate every year and why. Thanks!
