Hey everyone! Babyfuf04 here updating you on the latest scam in our fun virtual town, Whyville. I hope this article keeps you informed and helps you not fall for the new crookedness.

This scam is, well, it's actually pretty dumb. The trick revolves around something that a lot of people want now -- the latia!

The latia hair is pretty popular, according to some of Whyville's citizens. I myself think it's a hair I'd like to have, but not a must-have or anything.

I discovered this scam when I went to the beach where I met a person saying, "Latia for sale, y-mail me!" So of course I y-mailed her; I did say I was interested in the hair!

She wanted 100 clams. I had more than enough, so I said, "Wanna go in to the Trading Post?" and she said, "I can't, it freezes up my computer!"

More than likely something like that wouldn't freeze up your computer -- Whyville can't do that, in my experience.

I thought right away, "Okay, you must be scamming me." So I replied, "No thanks, I'll just wait until it's in stock at Akbar's."

She said, "Okay, whatever."

Hello! Didn't you get the scam? It's obvious! This person wanted to have me ClamGram her a bunch of money (which she would keep without giving me the latia). Or worse, she might have even asked for my password, using some excuse about making the sale cheaper.

Anyway, never trade parts through ClamGram -- always use the Trading Post! And of course, never ever ever give out your password to anyone!
