Hello! This is dartanian, reporting on the transformation of Whyvillians to potatos. It was a wonderful day and I'm here to tell you about it, just in case you missed it!

Some people thought that the server was down; that's the the logical idea, right? Others thought maybe the server was having problems due to the heavy rain in the California area. But then, someone came up with something new. They said that the City Workers made it like this so there would be no name calling, discrimination, or anything like that.

They also said that a City Worker had told them Whyville's faces would be this way for days, maybe even weeks, until Whyville changed into a 100% nice place.

It was an interesting theory, but there was one thing wrong: If you looked up the City Workers in City Records, they were not wearing their beanies! They would not have done that on purpose. As the CWs are always saying, we shouldn't trust anybody who says they're a City Worker but isn't wearing a beanie!

And so, that means that the City Workers didn't do it on purpose, and the day of tatorness must have been a glitch.

Fortunately for me, I managed to find a bunch of enthusiastic Whyvillians to take pictures with. No one that said they wanted their old faces back. They were happy to celebrate Tator Day!

We all went out with our one round and one square eye, and our satisfying grins, off to take some snapshots of the day we all turned into Tators!

Author's Note: If you see something in a picture that doesn't look like someone actually said it, that means I drew it in because what they typed wasn't too nice -- not serious enough to 911, but I didn't want it in my picture.

Here are two views of Club Why:

Then, I went to visit the planets. Maybe there were some alien Tators there?!

And, last but not least, I visited the Playground. I had some fun on the equipment, too!

I hope you had fun on what most citizens have taken to calling Tator Day. I know I did!

And do not forget about the victims of the tsunami in southeastern Asia. They need our help! Give anything you can to the Red Cross. You CAN make a difference!

Yours in Whyville,
dartanian
