I resolve to clean my room
(If you can only find me)
I resolve to be nice to my little brother
(Only when he's not around)
I resolve to eat my veggies
(If I hadn't already given them to the dog)
I resolve to finish my homework
(Unless the gerbil already ate it)
I resolve to use my manners
(Unless I couldn't find them)
I resolve to do my laundry
(If I didn't wear the same clothes again)
I resolve to stay away from the mud
(But the mud never stays away from me!)

(Something I can really keep)
