Lehcar: A Canadian

Hello, everyone who is reading this article, I am Lehcar and also a Canadian. I thought I would throw together an article about my Whyville friends and friends in real life. This is how we found Whyville...

Our little school in Canada was all plain and simple until we got some wonderful computers with the internet. Everyone was so happy when the internet came, because they could play games and research things.

Well, one of our good friends found Whyville -- a cousin had showed him and got him hooked. The computers at school were meant for school, but people were staying in after school was over, just to play at Whyville!

Slowly, more and more people started getting into Whyville. Now, we can all agree that Whyville has really changed since we first got into it. Almost every one of us goes onto Whyville every night to get more clams or just to have fun!

Here is a list of my Whyville friends that are Canadian:

To find out what some people think about the United States of America, I went and interviewed three people. Although only five questions were asked, I found that each interview was different!!!

The three people I interviewed were Listener, Site, and Spazchick. Here is what each Whyvillian had to say:

LISTENER.
Me: OK. What is the best state you have ever been to?
Listener: Umm. I guess California.
Me: Kewl, I would have to say my favorite are Florida, Colorado, Maine and Vermont.
Listener: Out of those choices, I would pick Florida!!!
Me: Kewl. In the future, what state do you think you might live in?
Listener: I dunno!!!
Me: Ok, what do you like in a place? Things like the city, mountains, rivers, scenery, fields, whatever....
Listener: I would have to say the city.
Me: Kewl, I would have to say the mountains with a nearby river.
Listener: Oh, well I have been to places like that lots of times.
Me: So, what do you like about the U.S.?
Listener: The Tourism... In other words, the sites, places, history and culture.
Me: Wow... kewl... so what don't you like about the U.S.?
Listener: The poverty, the killing... you know, the bad stuff.
Me: I know, really. That is awful!! Well, that is it for now, thank-you for your help!!!
Listener: No Problem. :) Bye bye.
Me: Bye!!

SITE.
Me: OK. What is the best state that you have ever been in??
Site: Maryland. Yea!!!
Me: Kool!! I live in Maryland!! What state do you think you might live in when you get older?
Site: Umm... if not Maryland, maybe California.
Me: Kool... that's neat. What do you like in a place? Things like mountains, rivers, noise, crowds, city, country, fields, starry skies, etc...?
Site: Umm... lemme see, I like a lot of rivers. Maryland doesn't have many natural lakes...just reservoirs!
Me: I like all of the above except for city, noise and crowds. Don't get me wrong, I still love them, just not near as much as I love being out in the open!!! So, what do you like about the United States?
Site: What? Physically, or overall?
Me: Just overall... what is something that you think our country does well?
Site: I think it is how there are so many things to do here. I mean, you can do almost anything within reason everywhere all over the U.S.!!!!!!
Me: That is a very interesting point and a good answer!! So, what don't you like about the United States?
Site: How much crime there is!! The government really doesn't do much to stop it! When a cop is giving someone a ticket for speeding or running a red light, right down the street they fail to notice that someone is getting robbed or murdered!!!
Me: !!!
Site: ...
Me: Well, thank-you for your help!!
Site: No problem!!!

SPAZCHICK.
Me: What state do you like the most in the United States??
Spazchick: North Carolina, because I live there!!!!!
Me: Kewl. OK, what state do you think you might live in when you get older?
Spazchick: I dunno... I guess I will find out!!
Me: OK. What physical features do you like in a place, like the country or city or mountains, etc...?
Spazchick:
Me: Spazchick, are you there???
Spazchick:
Me: Hello???
Spazchick:

Unfortunately, I couldn't get the rest of Spazchick's interview, but out of the info that I have gotten so far, I can prove that a lot of people think differently about the United States of America!!!!!!!

This is tight, signing off!!!
