Constellations fill the sky
The planets are in line
Satellites pass by
The stars brightly shine.

I lay in my sleeping bag
While the moon looks down at me
Sailor men look for the north star
As they sail across the sea

I gaze toward the night sky
And glimpse a shooting star
Quickly I make a wish
The star seems so far

We stare at the brightly lit sky
Knowing the meteor shower will start soon
As we wait patiently
We tell stories about the man-in-the-moon

The last falling star hits the earth
And our eyes start to close
What the stars will tell us tomorrow night
Only God knows.
