In my opinion this election hasn't been a disaster, it's been a learning experience. Anything can happen with elections!

We survived the dirty tricks of mischevious Whyvillians, reporting all the platforms. Even with half the platforms gone, we managed to get four candidates! That's a Whyville record.

This is also the first election where I've felt we had significant differences between the candidates! I mean, not to be rude, but all of the previous platforms talked in the same manner and promise the same things. That starts to get boring after a while.

This time around, we got RhinoRyan, whose ideas shocked some and angered others. But why is it so bad to have different ideas? Isn't Whyville about free speech and diversity? Instead of pouting about this election, you should enjoy it! It is going to get VERY interesting soon.

Give our candidates a break! Be happy for them, and cheer them on! How would you feel if you got into the top 3 (or 4) and lots of people insulted your ideas and tried to make you feel bad? It's not behavior that Whyvillians should reflect.

I hope you change your mind about this election! May the best ideas win!
