Kari liked her friends, but thought that all minus signs were kind of dull. She thought subtraction was dull!!

She knew no other methods of math, but in legends, Kari had heard of other signs and math equations. Kari believed the legends, but did not believe that she could change anything to make the myths happen again.

While she was walking on Square Route 9 three days later, Kari saw a billboard. It was for a strange online community called Whyville. She thought it sounded fun, so the next day went to the site.

When she logged on to the internet the next day, Kari went straight to Whyville. She got an account and signed in.

Then she went into the Math Stadium. There, she saw many strange signs, all very confusing.

"What are you guys?" Kari asked them.

"I'm an addition sign in real life! You're a minus sign, right? I've met a few of those," said one symbol.

Another said, "This is me and my friend. I am a multiplication sign and he's a division symbol."

"Wow! I never really thought that there were other signs in this world!" Kari cried. "This site is really cool! It's a bit confusing for me, though. What should I do next?"

The equations helped Kari with problems like fractions and algebra, and even a little bit of calculus. Kari finally got it.

Today, Kari is the president of Subtractia. Subractia is now a land of many equations and problems.

At this time, we play on the same site called Whyville that helped Kari with her equations. Kari was right. It is cool!
