Time is always passing me by
But what if we could stop time
Put a pause on the world
What if there was no time at all
You would never get detention for being late
Or being too early

I told my mother I wished there was no time
She said she liked time
If there was no time she wouldn't get paid on paycheck days because we
wouldn't know the times

I asked my father if he liked time
He said he did if there was no time
There would be no supper or lunch
Or time for me to go on the computer

I guess I've changed my mind about time
It's kind of a good thing time's passing me by
