Everywhere I go, I hear it.

"Why do you look like a boy?"
"What's wrong with your head?"
"Why do you look so weird?"

I'm sick of it. SICK!! So I'm writing this to let you know something about Whyville, and maybe about yourself, too.

Your cartoon Whyville person can be WHOMEVER you want it to be. You can be a pirate, a soccer player, a cow, a dinosaur! Anything!

It's your choice. Just because your person is dressed as an alien doesn't make you a strange, noobish person. Just because your hair is in huge yellow spikes, your eyes different colors, and you're dressed in a kimono doesn't mean you're some weirdo.

Take some advice. Talk to a person before deciding that they're stupid. Have a conversation with that vampire on your left. Ask that Barbie-like person if she plays soccer. See what the blue dog above you likes to watch on TV. They're all people inside.

Please don't judge me from what I look like on your computer screen. My person is crazy-looking! I know! That's the fun of it. You can create a little identity of your own, make it anything you want it to be. In real life, I have long brown hair. Not spiky yellow hair. So what? That's the whole point. The fun of being anything.

I don't mean you should deny your real life... but have fun with your person! Don't worry that someone won't think you're "hot"! Besides, isn't it a little strange to think a cartoon is "hot"? Kind of a little sick???

I guess my whole point is this:

Don't judge me before you talk to me. Don't judge me by my appearance. Judge me by me.

But I have another point, too:

Don't take your Whyville person so seriously! Have fun with it! I like my person. You should like yours, too.

Thanks for reading this.

Have fun,
frzenhart
