She was the happiest person in Whyville, and a lot of people looked up to
her. She was a Times Writer, and a very fashionable designer. As I write this,
she has designed 143 parts and written 33 articles.
When I joined Whyville, I, along with many others, looked up to her.
BabyPowdr, or BP for short, joined Whyville in late 1999 on the account Corinne,
which was later banished. She then resumed Whyville on an account named BabyPowdr,
which joined Whyville on September 23, 2000. From then on, she was the nicest
person anybody could meet on Whyville. She had a lot of friends. Everybody knew
her name and even her nickname.
BP visited Whyville frequently for three years, and she was often seen speaking
to friends when you entered a room. When she entered the room, you'd see a lot
of people shout "Hey BP!" or "Babypowdr!"
She was the first to suggest "bearded ladies" in a Times article,
which became a major fashion and social statement for several months last year.
BP also once ran for the position of Senator. She became a Top 3 candidate,
narrowly defeated by now-former Senator Sonner in what I believe was the closest
vote in the history of the Senate Race.
After this period in her Whyville life, BabyPowdr drifted away. Whether it
was because she was growing up, because all her real-life friends had left Whyville
or for some other unknown reason, she slowly started to log on less and less.
Anybody who knew BabyPowdr would definitely like to see her pop up in a chat
room now and spread her cheer once more to all the Whyvillians. One of her less-noticed
achievements was the designing of the Whyville Times interior. You thought Turnip
did it? Nope, our very own BabyPowdr drew the submission, and Whyville was very
grateful. Say "teleport newspaper" to check out her work.
If you ever see BabyPowdr in a chat room, make sure to say hi, and maybe she'll
be able to brighten your day like she did for us for so many years. If you aren't
lucky enough to see her in a chat room, send her a friendly Y-mail. Cheers to
anyone who can revive her cheerful spirit!
Thanks Whyville,
Deriko
Editor's Note: Just to let you know, BabyPowdr still submits
article ideas to the Times from time to time. She's still around somewhere!
