I was at the Auditorium, just chatting away, when I saw a girl go up to another
and scream, "YOU ARE SO UGLY!"
I thought to myself, did that girl not have a conscience? I went up to her
and started talking.
"Beauty is not only skin deep," I explained. She replied angrily with,
"WHY ARE YOU LECTURING ME!?! YOU ARE NOT MY MOTHER!"
I tried to get her to calm down, but she just wouldn't stop. I am not the type
to get into an argument, so I talked to her calmly, not being mean in any way
whatsoever.
"Look," I said, "you do not need to judge people on the outside.
It is what's on the inside that counts."
"YOU ARE UGLY, SO SHUT UP!" she told me. Her attitude had me raging
with anger, but I kept my cool.
"I may be ugly, but I am right. And you know it."
I left the chatroom, leaving her thinking, I hope. I came back after a couple
minutes to find that no one else was in Club Y.
It turned out she had just lost a beauty contest. She didn't seem to understand
what had happened, and was saying stuff like, "I AM UGLY!?!"
People told her that she was not ugly and she complained, "WHY DIDN'T
I COME IN FIRST!?!"
"You are not ugly on the outside," I said, "but your attitude,
yes, is very ugly." Yet again I left, and this time I didn't come back.
I hope that the girl learned a lesson and will be nicer in the future. I also
hope that anyone who is like that and is reading this article changes their
ways. Be beautiful on the inside -- be beautiful to others.
I am not sure about everyone else, but I will give everyone another chance.
