Some questions would have been better left unanswered,
Some feelings would have been better left unfelt,
It's over and done with though,
Nothing can be changed,
What I've felt and said and asked cannot be erased,
Just as the pain that has torn my heart cannot be forgotten,
In this moment I remember how things were before all this,
Before everything changed,
Before things became complicated,
Before love that brought us together threatened to rip us apart,
The spell has been cast,
The deed has been done,
