P.O.R.

by Sari
    Guest Writer
Hey this is Sari!

I was thinking one day, "A lot of people like to read." {duh} So I'm starting the P.O.R. club. It's sorta like Riven's Book Worms book club, but a little different.

P.O.R. stands for People Of Reading. Anyone who loves books such as mysteries, romance, thriller, action, or even science fiction can join! All you have to do is Y-mail me and I'll write your name down.

The first book the club will read will be Harry Potter and The Philosopher's Stone. The club members will have a short amount of time to read this book and answer the little quizzes I plan to send out now and then!

Here's a hint of what this book is about: Harry Potter thinks he is an ordinary boy -- until he is rescued by an owl, taken to the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardy, learns to play Quidditch and does battle in a deadly duel. The reason: HARRY POTTER IS A WIZARD!

If you don't have this book, check your local library.

Happy Reading!

Your faithful Times writer and poet,
Sari
