Dear faithful Times readers,

I know many of you have been wondering what will be happening to the Whyville Times since we have not had an issue for awhile, and since Bigfoot, one of our beloved Times Writers, has retired. Rumors around the site have suggested that there will be a new editor. Well, you can put an end to the gossip because that is exactly true.

I am pleased to inform you that I will be coming on as the new Editor in Chief of the Times. I am currently a student at UCLA studying Film and Television, with a background in Mass Communications. I have a passion for all media, and I am excited to step into this role. In addition, I hope that all of you will continue your devotion to the newspaper.

The Whyville Times is a wonderful vehicle of communication for our community. I am thrilled to have the honor of reading all of your submissions for articles. So, don't worry, the Whyville Times is back, and with your continued help we will make sure that our newspaper keeps on growing and inspiring writers like yourself.
