How often do you hear this in chat? I think most of us would agree it's commonplace. Although these conversations can be tedious, perhaps some of us should really start thinking about the level of strictness City Hall keeps.

Are the punishments too harsh? Too light? What should be done?

I have been shocked, to find citizens saying things such as, "I can't wait to get this tape off so I can do 'such-and-such (something bad)'." Does the tape not prevent them from repeating their actions?

My best friend online, Embersky4, once got taped for floating underneath a person and making them say stuff. Innocent fun, right? Except that wasn't the problem, the problem was what was being said. She said some stuff that was supposed to be funny, but wasn't. She Y-mailed me while she was taped and told me of all the new things she was going to make people say once she got the tape off.

And if Whyville is really too strict, as most people claim, then why do I see citizens every day, breaking the rules? Something is not right.
