The portal felt like it was made of a watery substance, even though it held itself up solidly. I thrashed about trying to keep myself attached to Twilight, though the current seemed to think I wasn't supposed to be with her because it felt like someone was pulling on my ankles with a Semi. I cried out in pain to find that the portal substance stifled all the sound like it was coming from a mile away. Crunching my abs I pulled myself down and finally got a hold with my legs.

"Hold on," said Twilight, "The other portals ahead will try to suck you out!"

I looked ahead to see what she was talking about and saw portals that looked like the one we had entered in, but instead of showing swirling colors, showed the images of the places that they led to. I was about to ask what she meant by "try to suck me out," when a strong pull on each of my sides nearly ripped me apart.

"Where is ours, I can't stand this pulling much longer, it's driving me nuts!" I screamed. "It's right ahead, sixth one in on the right," said Twilight with a grimace and I knew she felt the pulling as much as I did, maybe even worse. I counted the doors to the right up to the sixth and saw a beautiful scene right out of a storybook. It had greener than green grass and different colored unicorns everywhere. It took my breath away instantly.

"Wow," I muttered. "That's really beautiful." "Yes, and you can't tell anyone about this cause we don't want Chalindria to end up like Earth, do we now," said Twilight in a motherly tone. "Who would believe me anyway? Most people would be just like I was, denying the facts even if they were staring them right in the face. They'd make excuses, blame the things they were seeing on other things," I sensibly stated, with a note in my voice telling her I knew it was the truth.

It was amazing how fast the current of the portal pushed us, and no matter how hard Twilight kicked her muscular legs we always were wavering from the pulls of the portals. In no time at all, the portal was right in front of us. Twilight was sweating heavily from keeping us on course and gave one last push of energy to put us through. We crashed onto the soft grass of the meadow and lied there breathing heavily. Almost intantly the scene that I had seen so clearly through the portal door was all around me, minus the unicorn that had apparently hidden at our sudden appearance. I saw a blue-tinged horn poke tentatively out from behind a large boulder followed by a graceful ocean blue body. I gasped at the flowing beauty of the unicorn.

"Greetings, my name is Skydance. I see you have met Twilight," said the unicorn in a rich voice, nodding his head at the figure of Twilight.

I suddenly spun around, because I had not yet checked on the unicorn. I plopped down on the grass in shock. For the white beauty I had seen on that old dirt road had vanished to be replaced with a beautiful rose pink unicorn. The horn that had appeared to be made of glass now was made of pink crystal. At the base of that beautiful horn, a ring of pure pink pearls glowed with magic.

"What happened, she changed colors!?" I screeched, hysterically with shock. "Before she was white, now she's pink."

I rushed over to where Twilight was sleeping peacefully, tired from her ordeal. I gently pushed a lock of hair off her eyes. Skydance snorted in fury. "You may not touch the royal princess!" he screamed, frothing at the mouth and stamping his hooves.

My eyes flew open in fright and without warning, tears began to flow. I cried and cried for what seemed to be an eternity until I felt a soft nuzzle on my forehead. I opened my eyes and saw a colt. It was blood red with eyes that burned like fire.

"Why are you crying," he said, concern leaking out with his voice. "You don't seem hurt in any way, are you okay?" "I -- I don't know and yes," I said choking on the lump in my throat. "Are you sure? I can heal you if you are. I learned yesterday at Magnes!" said the colt, its voice containing pride with every word.

"Good job! What is your name, by the way?" I said laughing. "My name's Burningheart, what's yours?" he said. "My name's Sasha, Healer Burningheart," I joked.

I reached out my hand to pat his head when suddenly a great shape burst right between us.
