I've been on Whyville since 2002 and believe me, there have been plenty of changes. One day I decided to go explore through the most popular chat rooms of Whyville. As I sat and watched everyone and their conversations, I noticed the difference of Whyville now and back in 2002. Back then, the chat rooms had totally different atmospheres. I decided to search in the Whyville Times and happily found an article about "Chat Room Morals." This article was done by Rhiney. I began to read how the chat rooms were back then. I found out I was right, there has been a big change. Wondering what kind of changes? Well that's what I'm here to tell!

Beach -- Back then it was just a place to go to find out about what kind of parts people were selling. Now, it's a place for all new-comers to Whyville. Either their asking for clams or bugging for parts. Now, you do still see people selling parts there but mostly you see people looking for a boyfriend or a girlfriend!

Illusions Talk -- This was a spot full of Whyville designers. Most of them were 15 and up and most of the time talked about mature topics. To me, considering I was young, this wasn't the place to go because half the time I didn't know what they were talking about. Now this is a space to go to get away from the crowded Sunroof!

Pool Party -- You used to see a lot of Olbies hanging out here. They were always attempting to "shoo" away the Newbies. Well if you haven't seen this room lately, surprisingly the Newbies have won. It is now a spot were Newbies hang out to get away from crowded places such as the Beach.

Sunroof -- This used to be a spot were barely anyone would hang. Most people would come here to hang with friends in a quiet spot or to just get away from their boyfriends/girlfriends. Now-a-days, this is the spot to go! Occasionally, you will see Newbies come here, but it's mostly Oldbies here talking to old friends or just goofing around!

Spin Speak -- This was another spot to hang quietly with friends or chat with your boyfriend/girlfriend. Now it's a spot full of drama!! Every time I enter this room, there's always arguing going on. I suggest you don't attempt to go there when you want to be alone.
