The leaves are falling, the days are becoming shorter, the temperature is dropping, that can only mean . . . fall is coming!

I live in a very wooded area and I walked onto my front porch this morning and saw leaves scattered everywhere on the ground! There was dew on the grass not covered by leaves, and a cold breeze was being blown into my home. I immediately thought to myself, "Can fall be here already?"

A leaf flew into my face and I said while laughing, "I guess so." Summer has ended, the tan lines may fade, but the memories will always last. Yesterday, it was about 75 degrees outside and the sun was shining brightly, making the grass glow, the birds were chirping, and I managed to get a glance of a family of four deer, crossing the silent road I live on.

I decided to interview a few Whyvillians on what they think of the fall season. Below is the conversation I had while interviewing pnik:

KaTuPuLt: What do you think about the season fall?
pnik: I think it is a cross between summer heat and winter cold.
KaTuPuLt: Do you enjoy the "fall?"
pnik: When it's hot, I like it, when it's cold, I despise it.
KaTuPuLt: Do you like the fact that Halloween is in the fall though?
pnik: Yes, it would be too cold in the winter, too hot in the summer, and it just couldn't be in the spring.
KaTuPuLt: Oh I see, are you a "Trick or Treater?"
pnik: Yes, I like candy :).
KaTuPuLt: So basically, you like fall because it has Halloween during it? But you don't like the fact that it is cold?
pnik: yeah.
KaTuPuLt: Well, thank you for your time :)
pnik: No problem.

See, some people like the fall season only because of Halloween, but I personally like it because I like to see the leaves change to different colors and I like the fact that it is not too hot or too cold.

The fall season is something people think differently about, I know that for sure, because everyone likes different things.
