Hey it's glitsygrl here, and I want to start out by saying, "I'm bored". In my house I know I hear that a lot, especially in the winter time. In the summer, you have lots of things to do, and most of them are outdoors, right? For me they are, and in winter you can't rush outside every time you want exercise, it's too cold for that! I'll get to the point now. We need to get more exercise in winter. Studies show that people gain half of their body fat during winter time! I'm really athletic, so I like to exercise, I just don't know what to do to get it. So here I thought of some ideas on what to do to stay fit.

1.Lift weights! You could always use more upper-body strength!

2.Shovel snow. Not my idea of fun, but your dad would be happy.

3.Do stretches. It could always help your muscles get to work. Besides, if you stretch, you can feel more relaxed.

4. Do sit-ups and crunches. Push-ups are good too. Jumping jacks and jogging in place can always get your muscles into shape as well.

5.Do something that's fun to you! Exercise is not exercising if you dislike what you're doing, right?

Hey, don't blame me, but your gym teacher will be happy, right? You can also go sledding and skiing and ice skating. Why I didn't put those on the list is because those are things you can do everyday. I don't think your parents will be happy if you ask them to take you to the sledding hill every day! Hope you have fun with your fitness.

love,
glitsygrl
