Sometimes it's hard to move to a new house, or a new school, away from all of your closest friends. If you've had this experiance, or it's being planned, then you know what I've been through.

I had many friends. All who were going to a certain High School. They all couldn't wait to see me there, when I told them, "I'm not going to that school."

Everyone looked at me in shock. They knew I had tried out for an arts school, but they weren't sure I made it in. "Are you serious?" my friends replied.

I was. I may still live in the same town, but now I hardly ever see my friends, let alone understand what they're talking about when I do. There are many things separate from our two schools. Most of which is them missing me.

I now have two groups of friends living in two different towns. It's a long drive for parents to come pick me up. Compared to my little town in my elementary school years, when I could take a 5 minute walk to my best friend's house. It's all changed.

I'm not saying not to follow your dreams. I'm just saying moving is difficult.

The first time we moved it was when I was 3 years-old. We moved from a big city to a small town. We left my best friend "Aaron," let's call him, behind.

I still see all these people, but barely. I haven't seen "A" in over a year.

I don't want to get your hopes down, because moving has its perks.

Since I'm at this arts school, I can really identify with the wonderful kids I've met. I do drama and art and all those things, and it helps you to have a good attitute. What I'm really trying to get across is that wherever you go, you'll always have friends.

And friends are the ones who care about you most and identify with your feelings.
