You've chained me,
And rearranged my head,
Put locks on lies unsaid.

I've crawled on splinters for miles,
Watching you,
Only to fake a smile.

You once spoke soft words,
Now they are a twisted, tousled, tangled tongue,
Its toxic breath born in two toxic lungs.

They send me round and round,
But is it all in my head?
Let me hear the words you once said.

Lips, speak of something pure
Only truth can heal me now
Only truth will let me out.
