Beauty can be interpreted in many ways. The company Dove portrays this very well by showing women with non-traditional beauty, such as women with freckles, age spots, grey hair or wrinkles and celebrates the physical beauty in every individual. Women do not need to look like supermodels to be beautiful. Beauty is composed of the whole person which is more than just physical appearance.
Dove invites you to participate in the Campaign for Real Beauty. You can do so at http://www.dove.ca. "For too long beauty has been defined by narrow, stifling stereotypes. You've told us it's time to change all that. We agree. Because we believe beauty comes in many shapes, and sizes, this is why we started the campaign for real beauty and why we hope you'll take part in it." That is a quote from the Campaign For Real Beauty. So feel the spirit, get involved and make a difference.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Some believe that beauty is in the physical appearance and others believe that it is wrapped up in many things which include a person's personality.
Beauty by definition is:
1. The quality that gives pleasure to the mind or senses and is associated with such properties as harmony of form or color, excellence of artistry, truthfulness, and originality.
2. One that is beautiful, especially a beautiful woman.
3. A quality or feature that is most effective, gratifying, or telling: The beauty of the venture is that we stand to lose nothing.
4. An outstanding or conspicuous example: "Hammett's gun went off. The shot was a beauty, just slightly behind the eyes."
In conclusion we can say that beauty is a passionate thing and is individual for everyone. It is closely related to love and happiness. It is safe to say that beauty is whatever you want it to be. That is the beauty of beauty.
