Hey, for those of you who are gamers like me, know about the Xbox 360, which was released just last week {as of when I'm writing this}, but if you're like me, you're waiting for Sony's awe-inspiring machine: the Playstation3.

This machine is powered by a cell-processer {not a fancy blender}, capable of rendering graphics, similar to the real world. For those of you who aren't gamers, this machine can make games look like real life.

Some games that sound like they will rock your world when the PS3 gets released are: Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of Patriots {Yay, Snake!}, Devil May Cry 4, Resident Evil 5 {zombies, run!}, Killzone {which looks fantastic, and the press calls a "Halo-killer"}, and Warhawk {which is a remake of a PS1 flight simulation}.

Also, don't worry that the hundreds of hours you spent in front of the TV on your PS2 games were wasted, they can be transfered painlessly.

But, don't think I'm advertising this, there are a few complaints. First off, the PS3's controller looks like a giant silver boomerang with buttons, but when you consider that the Nintendo Revolution's controller is practically a remote, it doesn't seem as weird.

"Hey I don't play video games! What does this matter to me?" someone is probably bound to say. Well, whoever might be saying this, video games are the way of the future. The Army even used the game Full Spectrum Warrior, to show soldiers what the combat field was like. There are even games that simulate the craziest things, like Kumauta, where you train a polar bear to be a folk music singer.

In short, games are getting more and more important in the world, and the Playstation3 may open up new digital worlds for us gaming nerds to explore.

This is gamer37 signing off to camp out in front of EB Games waiting for the PS3 to be released.
