As I was perched at my computer one day, I realized all of the different styles and how people judge them. I decided to write this article because I wanted to know the opinions of those about style. Whether you win a Beauty Contest or become the Senator of Whyville (Congrats Andy!), does your style really matter? Should people judge you by how you look?

So . . . to get some opinions, I went around Whyville asking the following question, "Does your style reflect your personality, why or why not?

Soxeater: Probably not, considering that some people are poor and can't afford certain face parts that they would be able to express themselves with.

Angel656: No style does not reflect your personality, why, because all that matters is what is on the inside.

55hottie5: Yes, because if they know they look good then they think they are better than everyone else. They also act like it and that doesn't look good.

So those were just a few random people I asked so that it wouldn't be favorable to one side of the opinion.

To refresh your memory, the question is, "Does style reflect your personality?" The answer to that is no! Styles can vary from punk, prep, goth, or futuristic. It doesn't matter what style you have, it's the diversity that counts! You need to express yourself as the one and only, you! This is important because following the crowd isn't necessarily the cool thing to do.

Maybe I am wrong. Let's look on the opposing side. Your style can reflect your personality because if you are a dark person inside, you may choose to wear darker clothes. If you are cheerful occasionaly, then you may dress in a lighter choice of clothes. The manifest opinion is that style does reflect your personality because you expressing yourself.

Certain cliques or the Whyvillians that look like you, or groups . . . whatever you want to call them, seem to hang out in certain places. Here are juse a few pictures of where some people are located . . .

Remember that what you wear on Whyville doesn't reflect your personality in real life, but it can change what people think of you. I know there are many other styles, just continue being diverse and expressing yourself. Happy Holidays!
