In an interesting chat seesion in the newbie center, I encountered a citizen in Whyville who I'd seen before. I'm sure many others, although maybe not friends, have talked or engaged in some sort of activity with this citizen. His name is ooooopppp.
As you can see from the cunningly designed facial expressions that composes ooooopppp's floating face, he puts care into the way people perceive him in chat rooms. His hardly monochomatic skin shows his efforts of equality between races on Whyville, and his success is duely noted.
Ooooopppp joined Whyville on the 1st of January, 2005. That is hardly a year ago today, yet still possessing a greater one person impact than I've ever seen before in such a time period. More than half of the face parts he wears, the monocle, the head, the ears, the moe, and more, are designed by Akbar, and the others are well suited toward his goal. In truth, anything could go onto that face! Or should I say, faces?
He is an active participator in the Whyville Games. He has a salary of 80 clams, which is above the cut-off point to become a Y-mail Helper. To get a general idea of how participative ooooopppp is with Whyville, look at his city records. He has logged on over 1700 times in the last year. That's almost 7 times every day! I see him in chat rooms all over the place. He doesn't stay in Club Why, like recent complaints. I've seen him at the Beach, the Mall, and the Newbie Center too! This citizen really gets around.
Ooooopppp enjoys juggling, playing the drums, and of course, Whyville! He likes building figures and objects out of popsicle sticks, and he likes collecting action figures from movies such as James Bond. His motto is "Howdy!" which might have a deeper meaning than it seems! He likes to include everyone, say hi to everyone he can, and make sure everyone feels equal. That's the Whyville way, no?
He resides in New York, USA, and has reached the age of 14 years. I think it's great to see someone like ooooopppp on Whyville, who follows the Whyville way in and outside the site. Cheers ooooopppp, for making Whyville that bit more enjoyable.
That is why I think ooooopppp deserves the Whyvillian in the Spotlight Award! (Did I even mention his username yet? I think it's a bit unique in its own!)

Editor's Note:Since there was not an edition of the Times last week, I decided to have more than one Whyvillian in the Spotlight. Ooooopppp is one of the recipients this week.
