What is a newbie? Ok, we all know what one is. Of course, it's a new Whyvillian.

The question though is when is a Whyvillian not a newbie any more? It's a trick question that I thought (and still think) is difficult to answer. I asked local Whyvillians what they think is the cut-off from a newbie to a regular Whyvillian.

Here are my results . . .

When a newbie gets a full face: 51%
When a newbie is on for a month: 6%
When a newbie is on for a year: 14%
When a newbie gets a couple of days of chat: 1%
When a newbie earns some clams: 2%
Can't Tell: 37%

I agree with the Whyvillians who said when a newbie gets a full face, but I would have to ask a City Worker for the real answer.

Who knows? It may be a mystery never to be solved.
