Hello there fellow Whyvillians, it's Air009 here going to talk to you about our Y-mail helpers, and some things that I think need to be worked on.

To start off, I have been waiting a very long time to become a Y-mail helper. I have been a citizen for two years as of New Years Day, which is pretty exciting indeed. I love coming on Whyville and chatting. But, I haven't been able to become a Y-Mail helper for the awhile because it has been too full to send in my test. For the past week, when I tried to take the test, a message came up stating that the test will be ready any day . . . yeah, I've waited every day for the past week for the test to be ready (I think something needs to be worked on in that department).

Here is one person I interviewed and his opinion.

Air009: Do you think that the Y-mail helpers do a good job of helping the Newbies of Whyville?
Jacob1107: No, not really.
Air009: Why is that?
Jacob1107: Because they are kind of too lazy to answer your questions thoroughly.
Air009: Do you think that the whole idea of becoming a Y-Mail helper is for popularity?
Jacob1107: Yeah I think it is because they don't really do anything, and it makes them look "cool" to other Whyvillians, like the new ones joining. They think that they should look up to them.
Air009: Thank you for your time.

I totally agree with him 100%. I really think that the job of a Y-mail helper should be taken a little bit more seriously, because the City Workers can't deal with every question.

On another note, I think that if you are a Y-mail helper, you should try and get on once a day to help others. I've noticed that there are some helpers who havn't been on Whyville for over a week. To me, it doesn't seem like they are taking their job seriously. This is my opionion, but I think it should be taken into consideration, and to get that Y-mail helper test up and running.
