Hey, I'm xcarrotx, here to encourage Times readers and authors to take screenshots of our lovely town!

First of all, taking screenshots is fun. Whether you take a screenshot of a beauty contest; senate race; or just some shots of you and your Whyville buddies hanging around, we should take advantage of our opportunity to post pictures of our numerous adventures on Whyville.

If you've ever seen a Whyville photographer post pictures in an article, and you've gone, "Wow! How do you take screenshots?!" Then here's how:

1. Make sure that the image on your monitor is suitable for a picture.

2. Reach over to that oh-so-beloved "Prt Scr" or "Print Screen" button and press it.

3. Open up your favorite image program. This can be Paint, Photoshop, etc.

4. Press the buttons Ctrl and V at the same time to paste that gorgeous artwork into the program.

5. Have fun. You can change the size, colors, and so much more. Once I drew a mustache on the Whyville avatar of my friend. :)

Editing a screenshot can be tedious, but it all pays off when you look at the neat memory you've got!

It's fun to be a Whyville photographer! Here are some shots I got:

I am pleased at the variety of our town.

Going to photograph my dog,
xcarrotx
