In this article, I will include info on alcohol, why not to drink it, why not to drive with it, what it does to you, and so much more. Curious? I bet! Keep reading.
Alcohol comes in many forms: beer, wine, liquor. Some people enjoy the taste, but don't drink too much. Most most importantly: Do not drink and drive. Take a taxi instead. Also, don't sit in a car with a drunk person. Why? Because that person could not only get pulled over or crash, but could even hurt or kill you!
Whether you love this person or not, don't hang around them when they're under the influence. Just lay low for a while. If you're at a party with friends and there's a drunk person, get out of there! But if it's a family party . . . just find a room away from it all. You can even go outside or sit in the car, which will definitely say something to everyone around you.
Alcohol can make you do strange things. When a person is drunk, they can do and say some pretty embarrassing things! Like: I..uhhhh.. *hiccup* need to use the potty. *hiccup*. They might even leave the door to the bathroom open! How nasty is that?!
Not only can it be embarrassing, but if you're drunk, you are likely to hurt your friends and family. Alcohol makes people aggressive and violent.
But what if you're being pressured to try alcohol? Here's some things you can say to get out of a sticky conversation:
1. That stuff is so gross! Of course not!
2. Do you have any idea what that stuff does to you? Don't be silly.
3. That's like handing me a cup o' cancer. I really don't want cancer.
4. I have my brain cells, and I prefer to keep them.
5. If I wanted some, I would have asked for it.
6. No thanks, I'd actually like to remember today.
7. If I drink, my parents will kill me. Besides, I'm not into that.
8. That stuff stays in your system for 2-3 hours. I'm on the bus for 2-3 hours, and I have a very small bladder.
9. Alcohol gives people bad breath, and my mom has a better nose than a dog does!
10. I'll just throw it all up, so there's really no reason to drink it.
Even if some of these things you say aren't true, this is one of those times when it's a-okay to lie. Don't be afraid of lying, be afraid of alcohol. Rise against it for you, and others!
And remember, no drugs for a healthier life!
