Author's Note: For those of you who answered my call, the message was, "under."

Okay, right now all we had to go on was "under."

But, under what? "Ashley, was Emily keeping any secrets from you?," I asked my stricken friend.

"No, Emmi always told me her secrets. At least I think so," she replied on the verge of tears.

Jemma started pacing around the room. Goodness did that girl know how to make us nervous! Under, under,under. Under what??

"Is there anywhere Emily liked to hide?" I asked Ashley.

"Yes ,in fact, there was. Under the bed!" Ashley suddenly realized what she had just said.

"Ok then let's hijack it out of here," said Jemma.

We all ran to Ashley's house. I checked my watch. Three minutes were up. We all rushed as quietly as we could to Ashley's and Emily's bedroom. We split up an checked under both beds. Under one, I found a coded message. It went something like this:

"2, 4, 6, 8, etc."

Under the other we found a real message:

"No help will me be sis to from kishka Emily."

Just a jumble of words. But wait. 2 4 6 and 8 were all even numbers. Maybe if we counted every even number then we could decode it.
