Ah, it's Whyville's birthday once again, I have been on since the year 2004 and I remember one or two of it's birthdays. Can you believe how much over just this past year Whyville has changed? I can't, and I'm waiting for the next big change, or game to come!

As most of you Oldbies already know, Whyville hands out Veteran Medals. These medals only go to people who have been on Whyville for at least one whole year.

The medals start with bronze, then silver, and then gold, and ones that sparkle on your face when you wear them!

Like Why-Hats the geodig hat that you get when you sign for the game, these Veteran Medals do not expire, that's a good thing because they aren't replaceable, or tradeable. I mean who in their right mind would want to trade it anyway! Not me!

Whyville has been around since 1999, and started on March 9th 1999, that means Whyville is around 7 years old. Wow, 7 whole years old, that's old compared to other Internet sites. To a lot of people this is like a second home! I mean now-a-days what can't you do? Since Whyville got these adds, I find that it's changed for the better. Now we can even feed our avatars! How cool is that! We can build our own houses, design our on face parts, chat from people across the world . . . and so much more!

So I would like to say Happy Birthday Whyville! You've made a difference to a lot of young people's (and older) worlds! And let's not forget our City Workers, without them there would be no Whyville!
