The sound of squeeking sneakers, the sight of a freshly waxed floor, and the smell of hot dogs in the stands can only mean one thing . . . it is March Madness!

Being a huge college basketball fan this is one of my favorite times of the year. The NCAA men's basketball tournament is perhaps one of the most exciting college sporting events to happen each year! You never know what is going to happen. There have been multiple upsets, and numerous overtimes, making each game nerve-wracking until the very end.

A lot of people like to make their own predictions and form a bracket. You can guess who you think will win each game up until the final game and choose the winner. It is a lot of fun to do! It is also quite challenging because if you mess up one game in the first round, it could possibly mess up your entire bracket! I know a lot of work places and friends who form pools and the person with the most right at the end wins a prize.

This year's tournament has been particularly interesting. For the first time in many years there are no number one seeds in the Final Four. The remaining teams are UCLA, LSU, George Mason, and Florida. UCLA is a #2 seed, LSU a #4, George Mason a #11, and Florida a #3. UCLA will play LSU, and whoever wins that will go on to play the winner of the George Mason/Florida game for the Championship. The Final Four starts this weekend, April 1.
