Hello Whyville! This is MizAlyzza here writing to you about the special event that occured on April 16th. That's right-the Easter egg hunt!

Since I had read the article in the Times the night before about the Easter egg hunt, I made sure I got up bright and early to try and get as many eggs as possible! I first started roaming around, and I didn't see anything unusual, but then when I got to WhOI, I saw a large, polka dotted oval Easter egg! Unfortunatly, I didn't know how to get it, so I moved on.

When I casually began chatting with other Whyvillians at the South Beach, the only thing we could talk about was of course, the eggs! Then, right next to where I was sitting, an egg popped up! I ran to get it, along with many others, and this became my first lucky egg catch of the day!

The trick I soon found out to getting the elusive eggs was to wait somewhere for about 8-10 minutes, and voila! An egg would appear, and I'd snatch it. Most of the eggs I found were located in/around City Hall. Maybe because of the City Workers inside?

The eggs I encountered were all large, oval, and normally the colors purple, blue, orange, or yellow, with pokla dots.

But how can we forget the sought after green egg? I myself didn't find this egg, nor did I hear of anyone else finding one, but I'm sure City Hall will let us find out soon enough.

But as the day grew on, the egg sightings became less, and less frequent until they came to a screeching halt. But in the end I collected 35 eggs, and had a ton of fun! It's too bad I was unable to get a snapshot of any eggs.

In my opinion, Whyville should have more of these events! They really make a day worthwhile.

This is MizAlyzza, signing off to get in touch which her inner nirvana. :)
