When I sat down at my computer, I thought, "What kind of article should I write about this week?" After 10 minutes of hard-core thinking, I decided to do a Whyvillian In the Spotlight article. Next problem: Who to choose? Well, I thought of several people, friends, siblings, me, and well I decided to choose a city worker. Why? You see them write plenty of articles and nominate other Whyvillians for WITS, but after all of their hard work, have you ever seen an article about them? Well, now you can.

The city worker I am nominating is scyllaCat.

I don't know him very well, but I know he is very kind. Heck, I don't even know his real name! But, you don't even have to meet him to know he is sweet. Just look him up in the City Records! Here is what is says:

Hey Whyvillians! Despite this cat's frazzled look, he tries to follow the Way of the Peaceful Whyville Warrior: respect, courtesy, civility, patience, and fair play. He has no time for the trappings of cool, but is happy to stop and chat. Newbies and vets treated equally. cya round!

When I met him was actually a little bit ago! Friday, April 21st, 2006 to be exact! It was when the whole Scion xB thing came out. I was totally confused on the whole thing and I saw scyllaCat with his Scion and I asked if my friend and I could come for a ride. He immediatley let us in with a warm welcome. He anwsered all of our questions without a sign of irrtation in his typing.

Also, what I like about him is that he does not care about the "trappings of cool." His look is unique! P.S. Love the goatee! LoL. Everyone is dying to look cool, however that looks. He shows his care for the unfortunate, with his ribbons of different colors.

ScyllaCat is your average Whyvillian, he makes 49 clams a day, he is not still filthy stinkin' rich (lol) after buying his scion. What makes him different is that he is actually nice to Newbies, and to Oldbies. See, what I mean is that he is polite to everyone, not like some who say mean things like, "EW! It is a newbie! Get away!" Or, "Ew! It is a snobby rich kid! Get away!" No, never out of ScyllaCat's mouth.

Hopefully you get the picture of why I think scyllaCat is so awesome. Hopefully. Make friends with him. I bet he will show compassion. Ask him about anything, he's here to help, that's why he's a City Worker! And a message to scyllaCat, stay cool! Thanks for being you!
