Hey Julietm here. As many of you know we have a new, fun feature to this site. The Scions. A another way to have fun with your friends and just your friends as you can invite them to a private chat room that you host.

What's the price . . . very expensive. Expecting to be paying around 20,000 clams. As in real life, cars aren't cheap.

Or are the Scions another way to get scammed.

Once the scions appeared, out from those dark corners, lerk those scammers . . . selling scions or Scions for sale. Then they say, "You trade me the clams and then I send you the Scion as a gift because it can't be traded yet . . ."

There are also the people that put themselves at risk for being scammed by saying, "Buying Scion" or "I have 4,000 clams for Scion."

Scions cannot be sent, sold, or given as a gift. Maybe Whyville has plans for it in the future but as of right now those plans are null. I was at the beach when I noticed someone was about to be scammed. He was very greatful that I warned him. I already know of six people that I met today alone that got scammed.

So I am writing this article for the Times hoping that I can save someone else from being scammed.

If someone tells you to trade or send them the clams and then they will send you the Scion, use your common sense. If it sounds to good to be true that is because it probably is. Those scammers take advantage of anyone, anytime, anywhere because all they want is their hands on your clams.

Signing off, exhausted of scams . . .
Julietm
