Sometimes there are blue skies,
Sometimes the clouds are grey.
And if you take a moment to look,
You'll see something new each day.

Sometimes the crickets will sing.
Sometimes the eagle will grace the sky.
Imagine that there are no limits,
And off your rooftop you can fly.

Sometimes the sun is beautiful,
Casting shadows that fade to night.
The stars come out of their hiding place,
With nothing but the moon in sight.

Sometimes the leaves are green,
And sometimes the ground is white.
But when I look out my window,
Everything in my life seems right.

What you happen to see out your window
Can be completely different from your friend's,
But that's the beauty of windows you see,
Because the amazement never ends.
