Well, this is sad and cool at the same time -- my last interview in this series! I have enjoyed this series so much, despite the criticism which I need to learn to accept. Anyway, back to the interview. For this last segment, I interviewed lollyfob. Read on as it is the last time you will see my name and the title 'Exciting Hobbies' together in the Times.

Tfklover: What is your exciting hobby?
Lollyfob: On weekends, I volunteer at animal shelters.

Tfklover: Why do you enjoy it?
Lollyfob: I enjoy it because I know I am putting my time to good use, and I am not doing something meaningless such as watching T.V. Besides, I am an animal lover, so it warms my heart to know that I can help them.

Tfklover: Are there any hardships that take some time to get used to?
Lollyfob: They hardest part is when an animal dies. It happens so often that I am starting to get used to the cold part of death, but it's still pretty hard to find out that the bunny I was playing with yesterday died, or that the dog I was grooming was near death. That's a hard part for everyone.

Tfklover: What kind of things are involved?
Lollyfob: Well I am much too young to actually take care of the pets, persay. But I usually do things like clean out their droppings, feed them, make little "adopt me" signs and thank you cards for the adopters (this is the funnest one xP). Thats basically it. (On special days, the owners lets me groom the animals, which I love doing).

Tfklover: Do you have any advice for someone who might want to try this out?
Lollyfob: Sure. If you're thinking of making your career based on something like this (Ie; Vetranarian), make sure you can take some pain for the job. Helping animals feels great, but you have to face some hard points in the job.

And that wraps up the last article in my extremely awesome series on some exciting hobbies around Whyville! Post in the BBS, Ymail me, it's my last one and I would appreciate some feedback -- positive and negative.

Hope you see my name at the head of the next great article!

Devoted Times Writer,
*tfklover*
