What Will We Do?

StormCat

Where will we go? What will we do?
When everybody is forced to move?
We added it on to our lifestyle --
To sit and chat with our friends for a while --
We put our lives in -- we cry our hearts out.
Is Whyville in for its final blackout?
No other site is a great as you are.
Whyville has come so very far.
Now it all fades, we lose every friend --
Every clam, every bud -- when will this all end?
This sounds like a joke -- but some are in tears --
The thought of losing Whyville is our great fear.
What can we do? Now we all know --
Whyville is saying "I got to go."

I hope everyone who read this poem was touched in a very special way. Like googles says: "I wish I could close my eyes and count to ten -- and everything would be wonderful again."

City Hall, this is no joke -- Whyville means everything to us. Please don't shut it down. We have friends, we have fun, we love it. We can not survive without Whyville -- some of us -- you got us addicted -- we can not stop.

I am sitting here at 9:00 at night. I should be doing my homework, but I am writing my heart out to show how much I care. Sixrock, my sister has donated and so has Mania, my other sister. Whyville has been an educational inspiration.

If Whyville does shut down - I want the oppertity NOW to say, "Thank you." This goes for all my sisters and my cousin, JessiGirl too. "Thanks for all you have done. I really feel like a changed person. If Whyville does go bankrupt, I shall never forget it and will pine the loss forever."

We had a couple suggestions to delete the unused areas such as the Spin Speak and the Auditorium and the Haunted House to decrease the cost of running Whyville. I don't know if it'll help, but I hope so.

I have to go now so I can get my homework done. It is now late. I really must go. Goodnight everyone.

Note from the Editor: Thank you for your heartfelt words, StormCat. Check out my interview with City Hall from last week's Whyville Times -- hopefully it will help soothe some of your worries.
