You were the air in my lungs, the blood in my veins.
You were the sand underneath my feet, and the wind in my hair.
Where did you go?

It was just you and me.
Nothing else mattered.
Not a single thing.
When I was with you, the earth breathed differently.
Where did you go?

You're the reason I'm alone.
The reason I can't stand up on my own two feet.
I can't fight off these demons by myself.
I need you here next to me.
Where did you go?

So I'm writing you this note.
Screaming at the top of my lungs.
I just want you to hear me.
But I know you're not listening.
You never were.
Where did you go?
