Hey everyone, this is xMandy789 with your latest review. Now this week I decided to do something a little different. I am going to do this article on Pirates of The Carribean: Dead Man's Chest. What's different about this article, is that I haven't actually seen the movie. So this way, it'll be a learning experience for all of us!
Since I haven't seen it, I am going to be using imdb.com as my information source. According to the site's plot outline for the movie, Jack Sparrow is in debt to Davy Jones and his army of sea-phantoms. He owes them his soul. Now, he must save himself before becoming one of them, forever.
This movie with its many genres (adventure, action, comedy and fantasy) is rated PG-13 for intense sequences of adventure violence, including frightening images. If you are under 13 you may want to watch this with your parents.
Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Man's Chest stars Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley, and received excellent reviews! Getting an average 7.3/10 rating from imdb.com users, this film is said not to ruin the first movie, and is another brilliant Pirates of the Carribean movie. I interviewed Nicelvr, a citizen of Whyville who has seen this movie, to get an idea of what it is like.
xMandy789: Hello Nicelvr, and thanks for doing this interview with me.
Nicelvr: No problem.
xMandy789: Okay then let's get on with the interview. So, first of all, what do you find this movie's overall about?
Nicelvr: It's about pirates. That's all I'm gonna say.
xMandy789: Was it a good sequel to the first Pirates of the Carribean movie?
Nicelvr: Yes, it was almost even better.
xMandy789: I see. I really liked the first movie, so to me the film already sounds promising. Who was your favorite character?
Nicelvr: I liked the girl, but Johnny did an awesome job with being a pirate again.
xMandy789: Yeah, Johnny Depp is an amazing actor. So who would you say this movie is aimed towards (Teens, younger kids, adults, ect.)
Nicelvr: Teens and adults, cause it was a little "scarier," I guess you would say, than the first one.
xMandy789: So you agree with the PG-13 rating?
Nicelvr: Yeah, I agree.
xMandy789: I see. So was the movie a good length, or was it too long or too short? I know this problem comes up with many good movies. The movie was excellent, but it was long and draggy. So what did you think of the length?
Nicelvr: I loved the length.
xMandy789: This is probably the main question of the interview, but what is your overall opinion of Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Man's Chest?
Nicelvr: It was really, really good.
xMandy789: So on a scale from 1 to 10 you would rate it?
Nicelvr: 10.
xMandy789: Wow, it must've been really good. So you would recommend it to your fellow Whyvillians?
Nicelvr: Definitely.
xMandy789: So, I guess this pretty much concludes our interview. Are there any other comments you would like to share for everyone, about the movie?
Nicelvr: You need to see it.
