Hello my fellow Whyvillians,

Here are the results of an extremely close and well-campaigned election:

Winner: hotboi764 - 40.7%
Runner-up: anyonka - 38.5%
Third place: peaches70 - 20.7%

Please join me in congratulating hotboi764 for his win to become the thirteenth Senator. As a Senator hotboi764 will act as a conduit for new ideas from the citizens to the City Workers. He will also have the power to delete petitions. This marks the first time in Whyville a Senator has been elected twice (though not for consecutive terms).

Hotboi764's inauguration is scheduled for Wednesday, September 27, 2006 at 4:00 PM.

To everyone who voted and participated in the election, thank you for your dedication to Whyville and aspirations in making it the best it can be.
