About 9,287 Whyvillians and guests came out to the Greek Theater to support their pop diva Stacie Orrico for Whyville's first ever online concert. The entire world of Whyville was shut down and everyone ran to the Greek Theater. City Hall started things off welcoming everyone into what I call the concert hall. Everyone was waiting for Stacie to arrive. They were getting very restless and tired of City Halls "corny" jokes (which I found quite clever, like getting lost in the tunnels, haha). Finally, Stacie Orrico comes in fashionably late.
She started everything off with a few quick words to her audience. After a little chat she went right into her first song "I'm Not Missing You". Everyone started dancing to it. Orrico even mentioned the phrase "This is so cooool!" The song ended, and a few questions were answered. She then left for a wardrobe change before the next song.
Her second song, "So Simple," went on after she got back. The dancing continued, and the typing of screaming fans went on. Throughout the songs questions were asked to the audience about Stacie. One was what kind of food she liked. She said Mexican. I have to agree, spicy touches my soul.
Again after this song, the audience got to ask questions to Orrico, and she answered them. After doing so, she went back to Pick Her Nose (I did not mean for it to sound like that, but you have to admit that was kind of funny) for another wardrobe change. She came back in and sang "Take Me Away". She sat on her awesome blue-ish green-ish stool/chair thingy and danced around while we listened. Everyone loved it, and she loved the crowd.
Once again, Orrico answered questions from the audience. Hotboi764 even asked if she wrote her own songs. She replied saying that she wrote her own songs and all the stories are her own. The singing started again with "Baby Girl," my personal favorite. The audience was asked what they thought her favorite subject was. A lot of people said music, but believe it or not, she said it was science! Yay! Another science girl :).
Citizens asked more questions, and we found out she is just like us. She loves to sing everywhere. She then left for another outfit change. She reappeared to sing her favorite, "Wait". We found out that she performed at Summerfest 2001 House of Blues with Destiny's Child.
She left again after another round of questions from the audience to change. She came back with her final song "I'm Not Missing You," which she sang a capella. City Hall clarified the fact that "a Capella" means singing without music. After singing this song she answered a few more questions before leaving Whyville.
I hope she had a great time because I know Whyville enjoyed it! Remember what she said, "No job, career or title can define you." Be yourself and enjoy life. Don't let simple things drag you down!
Did you have fun at the concert? Tell us what happened on your tier in the BBS! I'm just wondering why for most of the concert there were only three people, including me, on my tier, tier 3.
