Hey! Ps2man1 here for his first article in a while. This article is about Whyville back in the day and how it's different today from how it was then . . . now let's go back to days before the Scions, Letter Squash, and Expressions. Let's go back before the Cafeteria, WhoI, WhyEat, and the Spitzer Spectrum in Whyville.
First of all, let's start with all of the new rooms in Whyville, starting from 2006.
- There was only one beach. This was known as the only beach, but is now known as South Beach. North Beach - out of the picture. The Cove - what was that? And the waterfall - none.
- If you were to tell someone about a year or two ago that Whyville was going to have a food program they would say, "Oh yeah, and they've been 'working on that' since 2002." The cafeteria would get the same result. So would the food market, tables, and much more. Back then, the food court was for decoration.
- No street team. No reward for getting people to join.
- No Club Scion - no boxes with wheels driving around, although that was a thought that all the little Whyvillians suggested.
- No WhoI - hear that? No water labs! How horrible. :P
- Skyscout wasn't around - even though that's really fairly new.
- Talking about being fairly new, there is also the Hangar that wasn't there.
- No buying clams for cash, either!
That's pretty much all the rooms. A lot of them, at least.
There are a lot of new CWs as well. Let me name them - starting from AMae's time:
-RoscoeCw
-Focus2006
-lovedyed
-yxewas
-vernfuzz
-sarah1241
-AMae
-Yosefina
-Bahshad
-MommaV
-campfire6
-yodestiny
-golferj(he is fairly new)
-HumTwo (is this perhaps HumHumOne's new account?)
-YvlChris
-Sponsors
-benw
I counted everyone who joined after Summer 2005 or during it. I mean that's a lot of them. Also, I miss Neutral and Bigfoot, old CWs that I bet a lot of you've never heard of.
What else is there to say - concerts? New mail format? New front page? There's a lot.
I just hope that you've liked my article. This is ps2man1 listening to "Write this Down" by Cartel.
