I bet very few of you havn't heard of the Ipod. It's one of Apple's best creations. In this artcle I will explain the pros and cons of getting an Ipod, and all the information you're going to need to know before you by chance select an Ipod as your new music listening device!

Before I start I would just like to say that an Ipod is just a brand name, they're not some other kind of music player they are simply MP3 Players. So try not to let the brands persuade you into buying something. Now that that's settled we can get right into the kinds of Ipods.

They are 3 main kinds:

1. Ipod: it's the highest quality Ipod you can get if you're looking for more than just music and pictures being able to go on it. You can even watch movies on this ! They come in 30GB, to 80GB. But the bad news is they sell for over 250 dollars each. They mainly come in 2 colors, white and black. They are rather large though, so if you're looking for an Ipod that's more compact consider the other kinds. You can buy thousands of accories for your Ipod, but again, quit expensive. With a bright colorful screen and only one button to handle an Ipod might just be right for you.

2. Ipod Nano: they are around half the size of an Ipod and come in every color possible, and then some. The main colors are: pink, blue, black, white, and lime green, but you don't need to stop there because there's endless possibilities with the covers you can get. In 2GB, 4GB, and 8GB models starting at $149, IPod nano puts up to 2,000 songs in your pocket! It's got a bright screen, it can hold music, pictures and more. If you want to feel even better about buying an Ipod get the limited edition red Ipod nano and Apple will donate 10 dollars to the Global Fund to fight AIDS in Africa. Over all I would say this is your best choice starting at only $149, that's a steal.

3.Ipod Shuffle: the clip and go is 1.62 inches long and about half an ounce, and holds up to 240 songs and to finnish it off it's only around $79! This is great for an "on the go" life style but the down side to it is that it doesn't hold very much and doesn't come with many accesories availible. Also it only comes in one color, silver. But it has a clicp on the back so you can put it anywhere!
